Marlin Crawler Front Winch Bumper

I finally got my bumper......and just put a coat of semi black paint on her......It's going on my 85 4runner.....I like the look but I have one question.....those who have this bumper....How strong is it.....i plan on installing my 9.5 warn xp and I'm a little concern about bumper strength.... :king:

i dont have one, but i can tell from marlin's quality, that if they intended a winch to be on it, then it can handle a winch

I have his rear bumper too and I'm happy with the quality too....I was just concern about bumper strength..... :dunno:......I've spent about $1000 in the last couple months on Marlin stuff...... :smack:.....I've got to slow down or I'll be in the poor house :sick:

but my truck looks sweet and the girls love it too :ladys-man:

iam going to tie mine into my shock hoops which i see alot of people do. also i want to put braces in the middle connecting to the front cross member. really i want to truss it up as much as possible but i don't mind over building. why not :dunno:
got another 85 runner. build coming soon!!

You could also make a bumper support for the front crossmember where the bumper attaches to help with the reinforcement.  Marlins comes with a partial plate but this would help if you wanted to add more support to the bumper.

Bolt it up and give it a few little welds to tie it to the frame!  Like they suggest to do for the rear bumper.  :beer:
