Pretty much the same as doing a timing belt job, just another step or 2. Any write up on doing a t-belt has almost all the steps you need.

you can do it really selfexplanatory.  Just make sure to get the timing right,  I did it once and I had no problems really easy.  I got faith in ya you can do it.

which one?  the outer cover or the inner cover?
I'm assuming that you've already pulled the fan and radiator right?

did you look at both the links offered?  they were pretty clear to me.  What specifically are you stuck on? :dunno:

sorry, I got the radiator pulled and all that, and took off that black cover that hides the timing belt and dont know what to do after that, what do you take off to get the the pump

You need to pop the tensioner spring of the timing belt tensioner, and then remove the timing belt. Before you do that, set your timing @ TDC.  your crank pulley mark will line up with 0* on the marking thing (about 2 o clock on the crank pulley) and then cam marks should both line up with the marks on the rear timing cover (straight up)  if that isn't the case, spin the motor by hand using a ratchet on the crank pulley until they all line up. You'll also need to remove the PS pump belt, and the alternator belt.

After the timing belt is off, you'll have to remove the fan clutch and bracket assembly.  By this time you should see right where the water pump is (t-stat housing that the radiator hose goes to is part of it) Remove the other stuff that is in the way (don't remember exactly what else there is) and pull it out and replace it.  While you're in there, I would strongly recommend replacing that timing belt.  To do that, you'll have to pull off the crank pulley, and take off the lower timing belt cover.  if you screw up the alignment of the timing marks pulling the crank bolt off (its difficult to get off), don't worry, just make sure the mark on the crank, and the marks on the cams are all lined up before you put it all back together.

Hopefully that wasn't too confusing.  Make sure you clearly mark where your bolts came from, and how they are to go back in   I believe the waterpump itself has 2 different sized bolts, and you have to put the right length bolts in the right places.

Feel free to PM me if you need more help, and if you can take pics, those will allow me to help you better if you get stuck.  I'm telling you this from memory, so a pic will certainly be a refresher.
