so you need a tall deck,   early 84  back   are the same :thumbs:

just make sure when you look at one it has a 11.280 inch  from oil pan to headgasket, aka deck height

 the 85 up 22R's had a 11.080 deck

I'm in nor cal, but I do have an '83 motor complete from carb to pan. Bottom end has about 60k and the head and double row chain have 15k on it. $250 if you want it. Maybe we can meet half way or something.
