The Pre-Runner.
« on: Oct 24, 2007, 01:49:07 AM »
Quick story:
This F-150 used to belong to my bro(4DEES),it was his Pre-Runner/Daily Driver/Tow rig/Chick Getter  /Sand Toy/Bro Truck  :joke: ,anyway he loaned it to a buddy one day at a party and his buddy went and crashed it into a car and then a tree, long story short that night landed him and his buddy a night in jail,a couple of court dates and a totaled truck. Here's some pics from when it belonged to 4DEES:

Anyway, one day while visiting my parents my wife ended up buying the truck(after the wreck),I guess she wanted something cooler than her 05 Accord and saw potential in The Pre-Runner(Okay I convinced her  :shake: )wich surprises the hell out of me because she's allways had new cars and has allways been against buying used cars.Anyway the front suspension on this truck is pimp,it has Fox Coilovers and all the things the cool kids like nowadays  ,so here's some pics of how my wife got it:

There was quite a bit of damage done including the core support, radiator, the steering box was broken in half and the air bag was blown. So we took it to the body shop and had it fixed and painted, got new tires and after a little bit of work it's almost ready to roll, here's where it's at right now:

Nope,we traded her new Accord for her Dad's truck,I sold the truck and she still has the Accord so her Dad is carless. He's trading the Accord in for a new Mustang so he needs the Accord ASAP.She's still driving it to work so I need to hurry up and finish the Ford so that she can give her Dad The Accord...Make Sence?.

The front end is pretty damn wide,it's kinda hard to see in the pic but if you look at where the front and rear tires sit on the cement crack you can kind of see it.It has some wide ass upper and lower control arms and Fox Reservoir Coilovers.I wasn't able to do much to it because I hurt my back so I took it easy all weekend.I DID get a little work done on it though, thanx for the compliment.
