do you have anyway of checking your timing
No
and did you check to see the dissy hadn't rotated/bolt was tight?
Looked good :dunno:
real low idle,
idle is 900rpm

I'm no mechanic, so I only do what I know which is limited.
Axles/trannys/transfer cases and gears I can tear apart and rebuild no problem.....Engines I SUCK at!!!!

No idea what it was, Duffil adjusted the TPS a the trailhead and that did nothing, so I decided I was going to run the trail even if I had to idle through the whole thing, and it all of a sudden started working again. Later on the trail I turned off the truck, then turned it back on and same thing, kinda sounds like it's running on 2 cyl. Then it started running perfect again. :screwy:

Check your spark plug wires, I had the same problem & went to change the plugs & found that the wire that crimps to the clip that snaps onto the spark plug was gone & the boot was holding the wire in place. Also I had a coil crack & the spark would jump to ground. Wait until it's dark, have someone crank the engine & see if the spark is jumping. Did any onf the wires get burned by the exhaust? I had that problem too  :crossed: :twocents:
