Hello fellow wheelers
« on: Jan 16, 2007, 03:42:35 PM »
I found this website through a buddy on another toyota site and I registered.  I have a 2000 Toyota Tacoma with a three inch bodylift and three inch revtek lift and 33x12.50 BFG all terrains.  I love wheeling this truck but I have decided that I want a solid axle.  The reasons are as follows:

I have zero lockers, with limited slip
My current gears are too high
I want more flex
Crawling is out of the question with 3.43 gears on a four cylinder with 33s
IFS

etc, etc, etc, etc.

Problem is, I live in an apartment currently and have zero tools and zero work space right now.  I am trying to find someone with tools to help me do this project.  I like this site a lot from what I've seen already.

I live in Kentucky, about fifteen minutes northeast of Louisville.  I am trying to find someone who has had experience with a Tacoma solid axle swap to help me out with mine.  Like I said, I've got absolutely no place to do something like this, and paying a company or shop to do this is out of the question.
