Longfields are definitely stronger but if you want to go with Randy's, I have a set of the birfield eliminators that I will sell for $300 plus shipping. I ran them one season before the 30 spline Longs came out & I switched to them(I'm running 39.5 IROKS) I have three bronze bushings that were machined to fit my axle housing, hopefully they would be close and a spare U-joint. Not trying to hijack your thread but if you decide to go this way, let me know

Go for the longs.  I have been running 30 splines since they came out and I don't think twice about the breaking.

STOP!!!  Don't waste your money on a weber!  I've been running one since 99, and I'd much prefer to be running a stock 22r carb on my hybrid, just haven't bought the adapter yet.

 :offtopic: but...

38 progressive? The 32/36 is progressive, but I don't think they make a 38mm progressive. Also, :dunno: if it's true, but I remember Tim at DOA telling me the 32/36 is better off camber than the 38, just FYI.

i have a set of flanges for the ifs 4runner that had the axle disconnect, are they the same spline as solid axle hubs, and are they strong enough to hold up with 30 spline chromoly birfs?
