Update: Got my Cobb AP today. ONCE AGAIN UPS delivered my package to the wrong address. At least it was the same place they delivered my exhaust, so I just tracked down their number on the yellow pages and called them. They had it sitting there waiting.

So I got my stage one on, and it's a tiny bit different, Stage 2 is where the real power comes into play and that should be sunday night.

I was always a fan of the Eibach Pro Kit springs. Perfect drop, not too bouncy, and they made the car feel very aggressive in the corners. Complement them with KYB AGX adjustable struts and you are in business.

second on that kurlee, i had Eibach pro on coilovers and KYB's on my Civic. That thing was on friggin rails man!!! You know your car can handle when you start blacking out on corners!! Though I like the Nittos for a street tire.
RIP KYOTA

I decided on Helix DNA coilovers later this month if I can swing it (I think I can).

I ran a Live Boost check on my Cobb and was reaching boost numbers of:
3rd and 4th gear: 13.5-14.4 holding
3rd and 4th gear: 3,000-3,300 RPMS boost spike to 15.5-16.1 (only saw 16.1 2 times)
Vaccuum: 10.6 pounds of vaccuum at idle.

Going to start Data Logging my car, I found some software, and I can use my AP wire to go from the OBD-2 port to my laptop to do my data logging. Good news is that it can record and save my logs, so I can look over it in detail later on to track where problems start and catch them before it gets expensive! And the price of this software? Free.

I love photographing my car. I almost want to buy a digital SLR, just to photgraph it. I have a 2mp old ass digital camera right now, but it kind of works. Put batteries in, take pictures, and upload, that's what I have it for, nothing too special, but it is good to build basic skills on.

Anyways I took a photo taking trip today to find good backdrops and private spots where I wouldn't be inturrupted by people driving through and stuff like that.

Well now I am setting up my stereo. Right now I have the head unit figured out, a Panasonic Double Din setupd with nav, cd, dvd, xm, etc, etc. Over 11 million points of interest in the navigation! Gee whiz that would make for some neat road trips! Then I have to figure out subs and amps and then door speakers. Little by little my setup on this car has been falling into place. I am very happy with how things are working.

Haha, yeah I spazzed when typing that...my bad.

BTW, that is not in my car, just an idea of what it will look like in my car. I have not ordered my head unit yet.

Well, I had a Subaru meet tonight in Bellevue. It was pretty cool, 10 of us showed up to Watch MI3, only 5 stayed to watch the movie. Still need to meet more of the community around here. I was the only 06, the rest were 04-05 STi's and one heavily modded bugeye.

Downpipe goes on tomorrow night, and I might go tomorrow morning to go pick up my coilovers. I found a set of JIC A2's in the next town over for cheap. Now I have to pay my dad back for my stage 2 (it was on his card), I am going to the bank today for it, and then getting money for coilovers out tomorrow. I love my car and I am going to love it even more when it gets dropped on its nuts.

HOLY CRAP! I got my downpipe plus stage 2 map loaded into the ECU and let me tell you....this puppy SCOOTS! I can keep up with a heavily mooded Turbo GL wagon (yeah same thing people turn into wheelers, just gone the other way with his) with a good driver behind the wheel. My front end bobbing under WOT makes me sad, along with the body roll. My car is a loud louder, but a lot faster, so it works.

Today I went out with said Turbo GL and a second gen RX-7 through all the backroads around here, we took about 3-4 hours today just driving since it was a nice day and my buddy had just bought new driving shoes and wanted to test how much better they are. I could keep up with them at 3/4 throttle while they were definatley at WOT. The motorcycle riders loved us (there are a lot where we drive) and we liked them.

Now I have to work on handling. I have decided to get upgrade tires and coilovers next. Looking to buy my coilovers this coming week. I just have to sell my dirtbike before I can buy new tires and wheels. But the car is coming along and it is becoming the car I saw in my head when I thought "nice Subaru".

Very happy right now, if you can not tell.  :disturbed: :blah:
