Hillbilly Holiday In Southern California!!
« on: Feb 20, 2006, 11:02:41 AM »
No it's not a holiday from hillbillys is So. Cal, they are on there way here. It's an invasion, there are hoardes of them marching on our boarder.

That's right NASCAR comes to California Speedway this weekend, we'll be there anyone else going to watch the cars "turn left"? I don't get it, football fans will sit for 3+ hrs. and watch a bunch of guys run to the left and to the right and think its cool, then they'll go watch a bunch of  guys do the same thing on a basketball court, then they'll go watch a bunch of guys run around in circles in a diamond shape. But when someone talks about driving at 200mph. in yes a circle there's something wrong with it.

I will be there ALL weekend, watch all the races from my brother's infield RV space. Now that's doing it hillbilly style, in a 37' triple slide Southwind. I will enjoy every left turn they make. Ever go to a desert race? Yup you'll see them go by for a minute and off into the desert they go only to be seen a couple more times, but yes I like that too. I could rant about watching dirtbikes too, jump in the air land on the ground, jump in the air land on the ground, but yes I like that too.  I could go on and on, but that's not why I started this thread.

What I want to know is who's going  and are you going to be in the infield, and where you gonna be.

I don't watch football.  I don't watch basketball.  I don't watch in circles in a diamond shape(?) and I don't watch nascar!  I like watching rally, motocross, supercross, desert racing, CORR offroad, all forms of sportbike racing and I like me some road-coarse action!  Have fun at your nascar race, I MIGHT try making it to sears point, but that's up in the air.

I'll be there!  Turn 1 grandstands.  Never been to this track before, but it should be a good seat.  This will be only my 3rd NASCAR race.  Went to Sears Point in 97.  Went to Vegas 3 years ago.  Guess I average 1 race every three years.  I'm really looking forward to this race! :driving:

I guess in 2009, I'll have to go to Phoenix
