I was wondering if it is possible to convert the disk brake rotors on my 85 toyota to vented rotors.

Yeah it is. I think you can use the FJ-80 rotors and the calipers off a IFS rig. I got a set of IFS calipers if you need em. Someone else might have some more info on this as I haven't actually done it. Good luck...

You need '83 Landcruiser FJ40 rotors. Any IFS calipers will work up thru 1995. If sticking with rear drums, use four cyl. calipers. If going to disc in rear use V6 calipers on the front and an up-sized master cylinders but beware of wheel clearance.
