1991 xcab project
« on: Nov 23, 2005, 03:16:43 PM »
I'm trying to see what kind of interest I can get in this.  I am tired of dealing with the 3.0, and I need something reliable to drive now.  I don't have the time, funds, or space to do a swap now.  I really can't part out the truck, as I don't have a space to put it, so I am hoping to sell it as a whole.

Specs.
4" pro comp lift
63" chevy springs
5.29s with detroit rear, lockrite front both sets of gears are about a year old
35" BFG MTs with ~1500 miles on them, with a 35" BFG AT for a spare
sliders
k&N air filter
Panasonic CD player w/remote
spare set of doors with glass for half doors
2 hoods
misc. spare parts (axles, brake stuff, radiator, wiring harnesses)
3 3.0 engines (2 non running, one in truck, I'm not sure of.  One engine has rebuilt heads on it)
No rust
Truck is rattlecan black now, with red sliders

askin 3500, but this is definitely best offer.  I'm looking for a reliable, running 1st or 2nd gen. toy truck or 1st gen runner.  Willing to trade + cash, or straight trade.
With a solid axle and an engine swap, this truck would be a great wheeler.  body is in decent shape, and the interior is in great shape.
Willing to deal on this, trying to get some $$ so I can buy a decent 4x4 doesnt have to be built, just has to get me around.

I'm just wanting to get the cost of parts outta it.  If I could part it out, I would, but I don't have the space to do so

I've decided to give up the sport of wheelin  its too expensive.

:hahaha: :rofl2: just kidding.  I'd go homeless before I gave it up.  My truck has been down for 3 mos.  Tired of dealing with it, want something I can build, and that'll run while I build it.  If I sace enough $$, or find the right deal, I'll keep the 91 and swap over all the parts I want, then sell the rest.  If I sell it, I'll use the cash to buy a older toy, and build it up using the extra

where is it located?  My friend is looking for one. The only down fall is that POS 3.0 V6.  Good looking truck though, I wish mine looked like that.  I'd love to get your gears, tires and lift.
1986 Toyota 4Runner 22re 5spd transmission and dual transfer cases (4.7’s in the rear). E-lockers front and rear.

2005 GMC Sierra diesel, compound turbo setup to pull.

God gave all people talents but the only one who can find them is you.

It is located in vacaville, CA, about 45 minutes west of Sacramento.  There is the possibility of trailering the truck to meet someone somewhere, depending on distance.  Because of the engine wiring harness, situation, that is why it would be a perfect candidate for an engine swap.

Thanks for the compliment on the truck
