Engine and Tranny and T-case tech. help.

i need to know wether it is a major issue or not. the problems is that, my engine has leaking between the engine block and the tranny and also my transfer case has leaks too...any helps welcome please. It is a 85 toyota 22re w/ W56 tranny.

It's only major if you don't like adding fluids. Your engine leak is probably the rear main seal, but you may want to check the half circle seal on the back of the head too (can't remember what it's called). Don't know enough about tranny's and t-cases to say what would be causing the leak there.  :twocents:

If it's your rear main seal, eventually your gonna have to put a clutch in it anyway. It's getting soaked with oil.
Try and trace down exactly where it's coming from. Like toynorcal said, it could also be the rubber cam plug at the back of the head. That's an easy one to replace if that's where it's coming from.
As far as your tcase, where is the leak at? If it's where the tcase bolts to the tranny, that's a pretty easy gasket to change. (unbolt d-shafts, pull out shifter, unbolt 6 tcase bolts, slide it out then reverse)
