Welding a V6 third member
« on: Apr 18, 2005, 11:15:42 PM »
A friend of mine told me that it was impossible to weld a v6 third member because it is a four spider carrier. Is this true? I have access to a v6 third member and would like to know before I buy it. Thanks.

Seperate the halves of the carrier and weld the spiders to the half with the ring gear flange on it.  Done deal.

One more. Street signs make good impromptu work benches.
