Well I have never done a SAS but from the look's of my 86' runner you could cut that small tab off of the tower and re-weld it to your fram or make new tab.  I realy dont think it will be in the way of anything.  If you want to get real fabricator like you could run a whole new line from you master cylinder ta spot on the frame you know will be out of the way>  Just my  :twocents: , like is said i have never done a SAS this is only based off what i see on my IFS Runner, which are the same.  Good luck

Like he said, take and cut the tab that holds the brake line off of the tower where it bends outwards.  After you have removed the ifs towers, reweld that piece of retainer back onto the frame.  There appears to be a fair amount of slack in the metal line so carefully bend and manuver it until its out of the way, then weld it back on.  On solid axle trucks this retainer was vertical on top of the frame.  When lifting their trucks, most guys would cut that tab off and reweld it to the side of the frame so extended brake lines wouldn't be needed.  Its almost the same thing here.
