Ok, but do you really need double low 2WD? That's the only reason to have to pull the interlock pin in the rear case if you didn't when you built the dual setup.
Sure, when your screwing around and want to see if you can make it in 2wd!!
I think it's technically possible, but retrieving the pin might be tricky and really difficult if it drops inside the case.

Why have a twin stick if you don't remove the interlock pin?I don't believe so, how would you move the shift rail far enough to allow the pin to come out?
You did the triple stick setup primarily to relocate your shifters forward. This makes sense. I see no reason to install a twin stick without pulling the pin because it gains you nothing.
