newb from MD
« on: Mar 22, 2005, 08:04:20 AM »
Hello folks. I am from MD. Last week I bought my 97 LC 40th Anniversary Special Edition. I love this truck. I am in the process of building it for the  trails. Starting with the 4.88 gears and lockers first. Let's see, little about myself: I have been wheeling for 6 years now, previously I had 2001 a Nissan Xterra. I sased it with 78 Bronco dana 44 + OX locker front end. Last month I finally managed to roll it  :)  on a rockcrawling trip and basically totaled the truck.

Anyway, now I am very happy to be part of the LC community. I am mostly happy to see how big and dynamic the after market really is for this truck.

I agree. At this moment these are the only pictures I have. I will post more pictures when I have them available  :) . BTW I first saw the truck on ebay and later found out that my local Nissan dealer was selling it. Same place where I bought my other truck. So basically I just walked in and picked it up. Oh yeah it's bone stock now but soon it will be armed.
