I have ran a lot of different leaf spring set ups and configurations. All-pro is defiantly a great spring. I have also heard a lot of good things abouts skys. I have all pro springs on my 2nd gen runner. And they flex like crazy. I would highly recommend there springs and anything else they build/fab.

90'4runner......lots of goodies.

You do not need 5" to run 37"s, keep as low as possible.

Their 5" is not like Trail Gears. I'm running their 5" and my 35s rub on full stuff. So if he isn't wanting to trim then he might even need to go taller. If he wants to trim then I would say the 5" or the 4" is the perfect spring.

My All-Pros are great springs. I should have gone with 6" in the rear as they sagged out but I have a runner so it is a different situation for me than you. You shouldn't have that problem.

Where do they rub?  My front tires rub on the firewall at full stuff if the tires are turned too far. What are 37s going to do for you?

I figured that, you're all about having a plan!

I tried running 4" fronts and 5" rears from All Pros on my 4Runner and I sat too low in the rear. AP warrantied them out even after they didn't have to.  I ended up having my old 4" MC re-arched and so far so good.
AP is definitely a good spring and a good vendor worth considering when you purchase springs.
