For a cheep air tank check all your places that sale or work on air compressors or maybe a pawn shop. I got mine from a bad air compressor for 10 bucks
Pawn shops, garage sales, flea markets are perfect for this. Or you can look around at a trucking company yard, to see if they have a old one laying around.
