Edwin, I hope this lead is a good one, if this guys a member of a local club his name will be mud forever.... I hope I don't know him I couldn't think of anyone i would know that would be capable of such a thing.
If confrontation is needed, maybe consider organizing a large group to go with you, anyone would be less likely to act stupid with a giant group outside your door. When your back in town, give us a call be nice to see how things are going for you.
