well it did and is working.

and I agree with you, I have seen blocks with water ports 99% plugged, heater cores plugged up solid, and so on.

I would rather fix my motor, but on trannys it is a cheap fix.

I had a front seal leaking once in a mr2 and tryed some seal leak fix by stp
and instantly the leak was twice as bad,

but the lucas trans stop slip has worked for us, had bad tc shutter and now its gone
so I can say from experience it has worked for us,
might not work in all slipping applications tho.
