I would definaltey be in, but I did the Air Force thing, I lived in Fair Oaks. But I would highly recommend it, I will never live in an apartment. No place to work on truck, noisy neighbors beating there wives and stuff. I pay 375 a month and Its just me and another guy in a three bedroom house. Just shop around, I know Davis rent prices are rediculous and some landlords know students need a place to stay so they actually charge more if there are roomates! Duplexes can be cheaper too, but you have to be a little more polite with door slamming etc....
