CLEAN!!! make sure everything is clean..brake clean I think works real well..Welds are much better when its as clean and oil free as possible..
What Mr.4x4 said clean I used a can of brake cleaaner on mine make sure it;s dry thow before you weld it cause it will catch on fire tilt the third up on the gears to make sure none of he brake cleaner puddled up.
