Weld all of the spider gears inside the carrier together and then weld the big gears too the carrier itself that will make it nice and strong. we usally use a 6011 and then clean up the weld and then cap it with a 7018 too make sure its super strong and MIG welding i also agree with white that works great i MIG welded my rear and sticked the ft and i like the MIG alot better i set it up on about 21 volts and went too town i was getting great penetration, and it has held up great with tons and i mean tons of abuse!
