It's definitely a simpler install, plus you get to use your stock ebrake handle.  No lines to run, no worries about leaking.  Also locks all 4 wheels if in 4wd.
not unless the transfer case is in 4wd at the time.

that said,  I have the Allpro ebrake and it kicks ASS
