Mig will be the easiest, point and shoot don't get the carrier to hot and no clean up. I used some splatter protectant spary for mig nozzles to keep what dingle berries that there might be from sticking. Make sure you have it set to run smooth and hot enough to get good penitration. I gauge how much weld I need off of the factory welds on various parts of my truck by making mine twice as big as what I see in a simular area of my truck of course there are no welds in the carrier but you can estimate what you need from other stuff you've welded.  :twocents:
