Well lets see, did a little welding in high school. Then got my mig at the house played around a bit. Went to college got a 2 year degree with honors.
I have a gmaw all position 3/4 max d1.1, fcaw all position 3/4 d1.1,smaw unlimited 3g d1.5, fcaw 3g unlimited, submerged arc welding 1 g unlimited d.15.
So mostly in the big work I worked at for a while I used a lot of 300 amp wire feeds, doing bridge stuff, dam stuff, railings and whatever else they had. Then I would run the submerged arc welder, that was a 1000 amp welder. I would do tig welding when needed too. Stainless, mild, aluminum.
