I did some work on the air intake system today. The stock rubber pipe that connects to the turbo was a piece of crap, plus it had connections for like four different sized vacuum hoses and i am only using one. So I made a short steel pipe at a 30 degree angle to go between the turbo and AFM. I got two silicone connectors and put it all together. It worked out pretty good. I dont have much room in the engine bay for piping and filter now, so i ended up fitting the filter through the innerstructure by the radiator. the filter hangs out right behind the grill now so it should get good cool air from the front. here are some pics of how it turned out.
