I've never had a problem with my red tops! I had a wiring issue in 05 and I burnt up three alternators within 4 months before I finally found the intermittent electrical gremlin creeping through the wiring in my yota... Ran the battery totally dead all three times. A few weeks later I got to work around 4:45 in the morning and was on a tractor for 14 hours solid When I got back to my truck I realized I had left the head lights on all damn day.... Thinking I was going to have to jump it I went ahead and cranked it over... Started right up without a hesitation. They have yet to fail me
