Yeah. Most clutches are spongy vague bits. These actually have an on/off point more like what you'd find in a car set up for weekend racing. When I installed my heavy duty (non-ceramic) clutch, I thought it grabbed like a pit bull the first week or so since I was used to the work-out one and it seemed(rightfully so) to be a huge difference. Plus most OEM clutches are a lot like OEM brakes and tires. They are set to be as soft and inexpensive as they feel that they can reasonably get away with.
It's great. This type/strength of clutch is usually found on a F150's manual gearbox or similar(ie - 300HP or so trucks and cars form the factory), so it's very hard to actually burn this one out short of really doing silly stuff off-road with the 22R/RE 4 cylinder's torque.
