nimyad -- did you set your pedal height as standard Toy spec of 5-15mm of pedal free play?

I installed the Marlin flywheel, too, which I think has a higher step than stock.  I did notice that my existing one didn't have as much of a step.  not sure of the degree to which this would make a diff in pedal feel, but I think it would make the diaphragm fingers a little flatter, reducing the throw somewhat, right?

the other thing I noticed at first was that when I'd push the pedal in, there'd be a ticking sounds, but it's gone away after running it a little.  I'm wondering if the spring fingers were contacting the disc.

shouldn't need to since the system wasn't opened, but I'm going to try bleeding the hydraulics today.
