This is the added reason why I didn't get my 22RTE rebuilt. Cause the CT20's weren't that great. The CT26 off Supra/Celica's were better factory units. But you had to manufacture your own manifold. Then there is the T3/T4 units like you have, and I really didn't want to go that route. So, I just went with reliability. About 1/3rd of everybody on this site that has ran a 22RTE, love them. The rest really wished they hadn't wasted their time. Most feel that if you want reliable power, do a 3RZ swap. It's not 200+ hp, but it's constant throughout the rpm range. I do know that the factory turbo spooled up around 2800 to 3000 rpm's, and I do most my driving on or off road under that. So, a turbo wouldn't benefit me.
