ive heard that some old school race drivers used to fill their carrier with lead instead of weld and it worked great and if something catastrophic decided to happen the lead would give and instead of the rear end going boom it would just be eaten up in the gears as its soft enough to not harm anything

makes sense, i wish i knew more old motor/hot rod/ racer guys  :sad2: they've got allot of cool tricks, but they don't know how to use the internet to tell me  :down:
