I imagine leaving the gasket remover to seep overnight did a little too. Better living through kemistry.
Not liking what I see, now...maybe I should have left it together. Tips of the ring look to be heat discolored, and the pattern's not what I remember from one shop showing me to the next reinstalling it.
Long-short - had it regeared, NoSlip coughed a spring, had it ARBed by another outfit. In between lockers it was out a whille, and shop B's owner gave me an orientation of the good pattern on them, which is where I'm drawing the not so good impression of what I see now. Camera's down for a few hours without a battery.
ARB-side bearing doesn't turn nearly as free as the passenger's side either, but the way that's overbuilt with the 'air race' it's hard to tell if it should be a little bit stiffer by default.
