I'd be willing to bet it is your idle fuel cut solenoid. It is super easy to check. First unplug the carb harness and look at the end.
Looks just like that. Then just make to wires to plug into the + and the - fuel cut solenoid blades, touch them to the battery you should hear a clicking. If not then your solenoid is bad, if so then check the body harness. The + should have power when the key is turned on.
