I cannot comment on how much stronger it is, because i couldn't tell you.
The bearings are a little bigger and i am sure that is part of a strength increase.
With that said, i have broken both v6 and 4cyl diffs so i don't think it matters too much.
I wouldn't hesitate to run the 4cyl diff if you have that already.
