i got a stock fj60 rear axle . but i like to know what rear axle . is close to what the trucks rear end . what  land cruiser ?

Dr.Maxwe001 – well i have a 15 gal compressor now and if I gett he 60  and then use the 15 as a reserve that wil give me 75 gal  thats close to 80 isnt it ?

All Land Cruiser's have the offset rear diff.   Does this help?

some . i thought that the wagons were not offset ? in know that the small ones were  . i'm putting them undar my truck .

Here is pictures of a front and rear axle from a FJ60.




And this is from a FJ80 rear axle.




And from what I can see the new 100, and 200 series have all offset rear axles too!  Not 100% sure of this, but doing a google search thats what seems to come up.  If your looking for a centered up diff, I'd go with a D60.  Or call Diamond, or RuffStuff, and get axles made for a centered FJ60 rear axle, and order some Longs for it.  That way you can match R&P, and use all factory brakes and stuff for it.   My  :twocents:

80 and 100 series have the rear diff offset so one axle is 100mm or 4 inches longer than the other
own a 1989  LN106r diesel with a 1KZ-T 3 litre turbo diesel  bolted to a imported R151F gearbox with snorkel Rancho springs & shocks & Detroit lockers F & R & 11x 32  cooper sst ultimate dual transfer cases 130 litre fuel tank   full floating disc brake rear end

All Land Cruiser's have the offset rear diff.   Does this help? 

58-63 had centered rear diff.  all other axles are offset on the land cruisers.  not sure on pickups, but i thought some had centered rears
