Ya that sucks, but that's why i carry a fire extenquisher in all my vehicles
They had one but they were trying to put the fire out thru the air vents, and not using it on the fire at the back of the motor..
Looks like an insurance scam to me.. Crack or make a hole in the fuel at the right spot and the hot exhaust manifold does the rest. Just drive it run till it lights up and let her burn. Then it
