there is a trick that most of the time works (may take a couple trys.) get a pvc pipe that is about the same diameter as your shaft and run your wirefeed welder wire on the inside of the pipe, and once it touches the shaft the wire will be stuck on it and you can pull it out. like i siad it takes a couple trys.

or

you can get a peice of 1 inch flat stock and and grind one end to about 1/2 inch about 4 inches long and stick it in through the opposite side and get it through the arb, and tap it with a hammer. that usually works for me when i had to do it. if you want you could swing by my place and pick the one i made up and borrow it. cause it works really good.

Great advice! I pulled the other side out and was going to try to tap it through. but if that doesnt work I will go with the PVC thanks bro!
