What size of battery cables you got?
Get rid of those factory ones. And get some aftermarket heavy gauge wires. Or have some made out of welding wire. Make sure the wire is covered by insulation or sealed. Cause if they get corrosion in the wires, then you loose alot of conductivity of the wire.
