Yes, I hate Jerry cans and I have a short flatbed. In total I have about 32 gallons of fuel when both are full. A friend of mine used a Ford van tank mounted where the spare tire goes on both his 87 runner and his 97 runner. The 87 was leaf springs and the 97 is linked.
