yes, but wouldnt their be even more mpg loss in the city as well? he didn't say he had a problem with that..... and its still 1:1 in hi range......
You still have more gears turning, does not matter they are still turning.

Some people think that adding stuff to your rigs does nothing to your MPG. Lifting, bigger, wider tires mkes it like you are pushing a brick down the road. With all the stuff I have done to mine plus being a 3.0 I get 9-10 MPG.
