yup sounds like you need to check all your grounds. start at the battery if anything looks questionable unbolt it clean it up put it back together. stay in the enging compartment till you feel you have eliminated/fixed every thing there then move in to the cab. depending on how rusty your truck is you might wana take apart the dash and inspect all the wires.
