when im at work (local skipark) its really annoying to have to push people who have a small car with or without chains on out of the way because they cant get traction. and personally, if i might encounter snow, i really like to have 4x4 as an option in case it gets bad on me.
so id vote take teh runner and go a little slower than the altima would allow you.
