$200 with shipping!  I had this same problem with my old nissan.  It was easier to just put in a new tank.  I had it swapped out in a couple hours.

But if you really want to save the old tank, clean and seal it, POR-15 has a good setup.  http://www.por15.com/prodinfo.asp?grp=FTRK&dept=12  But this is a several day process to do this.  But you also have to remember that, where there is rust flaking off, there is metal getting thin.  And how thin are those spots?  The metal in a tank isn't that thick to begin with.  When I took my old tank off, the metal was so thin in one spot I could have poked my finger through it.  So, I would recommend a new tank.  Those cleaning and seal kits are better for a tank that is still pretty much new.

Just my 2  :twocents:
