I am in the process of swapping a 2002 3rz into my 87 turbo truck and am going to have it weighed. But i dont get where everyone says 3rz are light because my 2002 3rz with all accessories with a flywheel and torque converter still bolted to it sitting on a pallet weighed 610 lbs. I would imagine the pallet weighed 60lbs and torque converter and flywheel together weighed amother 40lbs. 510 lbs is mot my idea of a light motor. And my idea of a light rig would be 3,000lbs to 3500lbs and above 4,000 would be heavy. But those are just my thoughts. I hope my ride weighs no more than 3500 ready to wheel. :crossed:
