Sorry to dig up an old thread but do your double shackles ever go the opposite direction? im guessing the shape dosent let them do that.  I like that setup.  I'm suprised i havent seen that before.  I used to have buggy leafs but when i went to 36" tires i had to take them off cause the plates holding them on were gouging my tires.
