Old shop towels are great for stuffing in behind the speakers can't believe I never thought of using double sided sticky tape and cardboard to make one. I could have saved so much money.
especially when they are greasy... they take all the vibrasions right out of the air and keep everything cool and lubed
as for the tape, yea i had to take a class at spacecraft to learn all this but something really interesting is that if you use REGULAR tape and just overlap it on itself making it kinda like double sided sticky tape you save even MORE money AAAAAND it leaks enough it makes a ported box! ive made some crazy systems before like that... i dont suggest doing it that way unless you really want to FEEL the bass you know?
