Id like to stick to the efi set up... I just need a good motor to put it to. I know the difference in big block and small block i just dont know the difference in small (short) block and long block toyotas.

its short DECk and tall DECk, aka your efi block is a "short
deck" 80-84 22R's are "tall deck"
