Re: re-jetting weber 32 36 carb

ok just pulled the top of my carb. The stock jets are:  170/140primary
180/150 secondary.

Seems like that should work pretty good with my setup?? It doesnt though Like i said i have the mixture screw turned out about 3.5 4 turns for it to run with best power. I CAN turn the mixture down to about 2.5-3, but it has alot of dead spots and hessitation. So what do yall think i should try out first.

Also do you guys usually swap out the idle jets? Another thing, should i put in the double pumper main jet or leave the single pumper in? Thanks

EDIT: I just got done putting in 180/150 primary....190/155 secondary

Seems to help a little bit. No drastic changes. Ive got the mixture screw turned out alittle over 2 turns not quite 2 1/4. Also i tuned the idle speed screw exactly how the weber directions said and im idleing at about 500 rpm and its alittle rough. Now im not sure if its the cam im running or if i still need to play with the jets. I think the cam i run has 280 duration and 440 lift something like that.

One more thing i just realized. Should i be installing the idle jets that correspond with the other jets in the jet kit along with the new air and main jets i install? For example the corrector jet comes with an idle jet in the same compartment in the jet kit.
