Maybe, but technically the fj45 pickup would be the first I know of, and those were sold way before first gens! A lot of people are confused when it comes to toyota lineage
Technically the first toyota 4x4 made was in 1950 and it was the toyota BJ prototype. I am not sure how long they had been making cars before that though but that was the first 4x4. The BJ was the first toyota 4x4 available in the USA in 1953 but only by custom order. They began to mass produce and export BJ 25s in 1957 if I recall correctly.
